Liz Garrety

Over the years, Liz has developed and honed her organizing experience based on hands-on experience.

Growing up as the daughter of a career Army officer, Liz learned early on from her parents that organization is essential, especially when a family moves every few years.  She also learned to speak Spanish from living in foreign countries.

After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Liz worked for a Fortune 100 company as an operations compliance auditor before deciding to focus her energy on being a stay-at-home mom.  Now, as the mom of two young boys (ages five and eight), Liz understands how busy life can be, particularly when juggling many activities.

Nonetheless, Liz believes that organizing can be fun and easy and likes to find practical and affordable ways to de-clutter a space.  She is ready to help you tackle clutter and create a serene, organized home environment .  “It helps to know the principles of staying organized when you have a growing family,” she says.  “And a lot of moms just need a little encouragement and guidance.”

After serving in various administrative, sales and project management roles within the corporate world, Sharon has found her passion in helping others get and stay organized.  A busy mother of a tween and a teen she knows what it takes to manage the daily influx of information.  Managing the paper is one common challenge most moms share.

Over the past several years Sharon gained additional first-hand knowledge in helping parents, grandparents and individuals through illness and life altering events.  Some of these events lead to downsizing and/or home sale preparation.  All of these experiences have given her a heart for our senior adults and the unique challenges that sometimes arise for them.  I had the benefit of a flexible schedule and was available to help care for, and relocate family members.  Many families do not have that same flexibility.  That is where The Organizing Pro can help fill-in the gaps.

Sharon says she was blessed to have worn many different hats throughout her life. I understand how overwhelming managing a home can be, especially during the challenging times in our lives.  It’s never too late for a new beginning.
